Mary’s Place By The Sea in Ocean Grove Celebrates Their Work Dealing with Cancer with Open House Monday
Dealing with cancer is one of the hardest battles we may face in our lifetime and finding a place to help and to keep us in the fight can be even harder.
In Ocean Grove, Mary’s Place By The Sea has been in the fight for quite a while, and I’ve had the pleasure of touring the facility and meeting the folks there, and it’s a blessing.
Coming up tomorrow night, Monday, June 8th, Mary’s Place will be hosting an open house that you can attend and see firsthand what they do to help cancer patients.
Mary's Place by the Sea was founded 17 years ago in 2009 with the belief that women with cancer deserve a place to feel whole. The organization began in a rented bed and breakfast before growing into its current location. Mary's Place By The Sea has been at its current location for 10 years.
Coming up tomorrow, Monday, June 8th, Mary's Place By The Sea will host an "Open House". From 5 to 8 p.m., Monday, June 8, Mary's Place by the Sea will host a special Open House celebration marking a decade of impact. The event is open to supporters, community members and anyone discovering the organization's mission for the first time.

"As cancer continues to affect millions of women nationwide, Mary's Place represents a model unique to the healthcare system. This model addresses the emotional, spiritual and physical toll of a diagnosis. This 10-year milestone represents what community-funded compassion can build over 10 years, and what it can become in the next 10." ~ Mary's Place by the Sea Founder and Executive Director Michele Gannon
