Why do so many folks in New Jersey love Greek food? It's pretty simple, it’s delicious, filling, and always seems to hit the spot. Whether you're digging into a gyro, enjoying a Greek salad loaded with feta, or sharing a plate of souvlaki with family and friends, the flavors are fresh and satisfying.

A lot of us also grew up seeing Greek dishes on diner menus and at local family-owned restaurants, so it feels like a familiar part of Jersey's food scene. And honestly, who can say no to a warm pita and a side of tzatziki? That's a big reason Greek food has such a loyal following here in the Garden State.

I love Greek food and have always loved the churches and the history of Greece. It's truly a facinating culture and their festivals are always a lot of fun with music, dancing, and food. My wife April has been to Greece and she loved it. I hope to get their one day myself.
