There are so many great places at the Jersey Shore where you can sit back and just enjoy the water. Here are some of the Jersey Shore residents' favorite spots.

The Best Jersey Shore Spots To Look At The Water

I was very broad when I said "look at the water" because I didn't want to limit which bodies of water we are looking at.

Maybe it's the ocean, maybe it's the Barnegat Bay, or the Manasquan or Metedeconk River. There are so many great choices.

The Quietest Spots To Enjoy The Water At The Jersey Shore

I have the great fortune of having a boat, and my happy place is sitting on that boat while it's in the slip and just enjoying the water and the marina views. You don't always have to take the boat out to get a great water view.

If I needed to make a second pick, it would easily be a cup of coffee at the Point Pleasant Inlet. Watching the water and the boats go by is so relaxing. It's also something I think locals consider our own little summer secret.

3 Great Jersey Shore Places To Relax And Enjoy The Waterfront

#3 On a bench on the boardwalk in Avon-by-the-Sea - That sounds like a beautiful and peaceful thing to do.

#2 Point Pleasant/Manasquan Inlet- Either side is great, but I'm partial to the Point side.

#1 Cape May Boardwalk - This is one of the most legendary places in New Jersey. You can never go wrong there.

These are three great spots, but we are fully aware that there are a hundred other great spots, and we love them all. Enjoy the water, and enjoy the summer.
